Porsche has started using 3D printing technology to produce components for classic models. Porsche does not want classic models to be unable to accomplish what they should have done - driving due to a lack of components. Porsche recently adopted the "selective laser sintering" process to produce a clutch release lever for the Porsche 959, and tested over 20 components using various 3D printing programs.
